How is my score different from the generic one?
The generic score rates a product in the abstract. Oveo re-weights the same ingredient data against your profile — what you avoid, how you describe your skin, your goals — and against the products already on your shelf. Same product, different answer for different people.
What can I scan?
Skincare, food, drinks and fragrance. Point the camera at the label or barcode; if the product is not recognised, you can add it manually and Oveo will still read the ingredient list.
Is Oveo medical advice?
No. Oveo is an informational tool. It cannot diagnose anything and it is not a substitute for a dermatologist, allergist or doctor. If you have a diagnosed allergy or condition, always confirm with a professional and read the physical label.
How accurate are the prices?
Prices are collected from retailer listings and refreshed regularly, but they can change or vary by location. Treat them as a strong indication rather than a guarantee, and check the retailer before you buy.
What happens to my photos and my profile?
Scan photos are used to identify the product and its ingredients. Your profile answers power your personal score. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from the app — details are in our Privacy Policy.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions, and cancel Oveo there. You keep access until the end of the current period.
