Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Oveo mobile app and website, operated by Sentez Inc. By using Oveo you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Oveo, and at least 18 to purchase a subscription. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Oveo only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

2. What Oveo is — and is not

Oveo is an informational tool that reads product labels and scores them against a profile you provide. It is not medical, dermatological, allergological or nutritional advice, and it is not a diagnostic device. Never rely on Oveo to determine whether a product is safe for a diagnosed allergy or medical condition; read the physical label and consult a qualified professional.

3. Your profile and your responsibility

Your results are only as good as the information you enter. You are responsible for keeping your profile, sensitivities and shelf accurate and up to date, and for verifying any result before acting on it.

4. AI and scan accuracy

Product recognition, ingredient extraction and scoring are produced in part by AI models and third-party databases. Results are confidence-based and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Oveo makes no warranty as to accuracy or completeness.

5. Prices and affiliate links

Price comparisons are gathered from retailer sources and may be delayed, regional or inaccurate; the retailer's own listing always governs. Some product links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you buy. Commissions never influence scores, verdicts or ranking of safety information.

6. Subscriptions and billing

• Oveo Plus is offered as a weekly ($4.99) or annual ($39.99) auto-renewing subscription.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Free scans or trial offers may vary between users and regions and may be changed or withdrawn. Unused portions of a free period are forfeited on purchase.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, reverse engineer, resell or bulk-extract Oveo data or scores.
• Do not upload content you have no right to upload, or content that is unlawful.
• Do not present Oveo output as professional medical or safety certification.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and product data you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process and store them to operate the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The Oveo name, logo, app, scoring methodology and interface are owned by Sentez Inc. and protected by law. Brand names of third-party products and retailers belong to their owners and are used for identification only.

10. Termination

You may stop using Oveo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or for abuse of the service.

11. Disclaimers and liability

Oveo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sentez Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. We may update them; the updated date above reflects the current version, and continued use means acceptance. Questions: hey@sentez.co.
